Marks : Saucer painted red ‘Swansea’ mark
Origin : Swansea. Wales
Colour : Polychrome and gilt over white base;
Pattern : Polychrome flowers within looping gilt foliate scrolls and urns; both cups with gilding to outside of handle. a plain base ring and fine. plain ring to the upper. outer lip; gilt rim and gilt dentile ring to the inside; saucer with dentile lip and plain rim gilt adornments. along with a plain gilt circle to the centre of the well
Features: both cups with single outward kick and central longitudinal ridge to handles; very slightly everted lips
Condition : excellent; no structural flaws; a little wear to the gilding on the saucer. less so to the two cups; tiny amount of sporadic kiln spit. and some very fine. superficial scratches to the saucer bowl

Dimensions : saucer 2. cm high x 14.8 cm diameter – tea cup 5.1 cm high x 9.6 cm – coffee can 5.7 cm high x 7.9 cm
