Pattern : Worcester style scale blue with coloured birds set within the mirror and vases
Features: Small square seal mark on the underside. Glaze pooling in the footstring
Condition : Very good. a faint hairline crack on the underside

This is only the second example of Bow porcelain that we have seen bearing a Worcester type square seal mark. Both are blue scale type plates our first had the additional red dagger and cross mark. This may suggest that they were made as replacements for a Worcester service. however. the decoration is more naive than Worcester and all the more charming for it.
