This is one of the “rustic seasons” group. a series of figures all in the white which represent the whole year. This is ‘winter’. a man warming his hands over a fire and protected by his cloak from the chill.

Some restoration to the fingers. cuff and brazier but still a fabulously evocative piece that will stimulate conversation as was originally intended.
