Colour : Cobalt blue coat and puce breeches. polychrome base. Gilded detail
Pattern : Winter. from the four seasons group
Condition : Good. there are three paler blue patches within his coat. they are underglaze and from manufacture
Restoration : Two of the feet show signs of old restoration
Dimensions : Height 17.8cms tall

We are frequently asked if Bow porcelain is type one or two patent paste. There was evidently a third type used and until such time as we can see and feel the difference between all three ourselves then we can only be guided by date.
