We have named this version of winter "Dave" in tribute to the great and sorely missed observational Irish comedian Dave Allen.

We are frequently asked if Bow porcelain is type one or two patent paste. There was evidently a third type used and until such time as we can see and feel the difference between all three ourselves then we can only be guided by date.
