Origin : Lowestoft. England
Colour : Blue and white
Features : Soft paste porcelain decorated in underglaze blue with a Chinese Landscape pattern
Size : Teabowl 4.5cm tall by 8cm in diameter. Saucer 11.8cm in diameter
Condition : Very good. Under the glaze flea bite chip to the rim of 1mm from manufacture
Restoration : None
Weight : 150 grams
Reference : A Mug in this pattern can be found in Lowestoft porcelain in Norwich castle museum by Sheenah Smith plate 218 pg 146. and an excavated fragment of a saucer plate 667 pg 245.
The saucer can be found in British blue and white saucers 1745-1795 by Steven Goss pg 174 Where it is classified as “uncommon”.
