Eric Knowles Comments

John Wadsworth was a prolific and talented designer for Minton and his Byzantine pattern was produced in several colours including blue. pink. green and hazel brown. According to The Pottery Gazette .this range was ‘well above the ordinary in the field of earthenware from the aspects of both design and craftsmanship. it will vie with reallyhigh class china but is correspondingly less expensive’
