Machin & Co Sucrier c1810

At first sight we believed. as Im sure many would. that this was a New Hall sucrier. Thanks to Geoffrey Goddens tome “Staffordshire Porcelain” p 207 we now know it is Machin and Co.

We also checked and found a New Hall pattern 52 with the V and A . It has a sinusiodal line that intersects a straight line with stars either side. No chips. cracks or restoration it measures 11.5 cms x 7.5 cms and stands 12cms tall.
