Eric Knowles Comments
Although vases of this type often appear decorated with flower subjects those featuring sea shells are relatively rare whilst invariably more readily associated with the Worcester factories of Flight and Barr as well as Chamberlains. The finest examples emanating from the decorating workshop of Thomas Baxter.
