Colour : Imari-style 'Old Japan' pattern in gilt, cobalt blue, iron red, puce and pale green
Pattern : The saucer and tea cup match, but the coffee can is a subtly different version of the same basic design; similar pieces were made by a number of different manufactories - this marriage is likely to be of Chamberlain-Worcester and Coalport versions.
Condition : Excellent - no flakes, cracks or chips; very slight roughness to the foot-rims entirely commensurate with age, and loss to the gilding; there is also a small, errant blob of gold enamel towards the base of the tea cup
