Decoration : Diamond point / pricked initials WB on the finial and WK on the reverse. Almost certainly used to denote a marriage.
Size : Length 16cm
Condition : No dings or dents but wear throughout commensurate with age. Some of the gilding remains on the finial and can be seen within the bowl.
Restoration : None, Good unrestored condition
Weight : 45 grams
The Town Mark X may be seen within the bowl. This is crowned and has pellets left and right and is encircled by pellets. Prior to 1701 makers struck their own town marks. This specific variant is that of William Bartlett. This is in excellent unrestored condition, all too frequently all signs of wear is polished away.
This has a receipt from Asprey of Bond Street dated March 22nd 1974 for £350.
