Part of Emanuel Beranek’s “Antique Glass” range. Beranek created the bubbles by dissolving carbonates into the melt. Czech glass makers evolved the technique during the Second World War to hide impurities in low quality glass and they found it so beautiful and popular that they continued making it after better quality materials became available. They produced the colours with powdered enamel.
