Additional Information : John Middlemiss was born and raised in Yorkshire, his early life spent roaming the fields around his family's farm created, in his words, "a strong mythic and imaginary relationship with the elements and energies of the landscape." This relationship with nature is reflected in the strikingly geometrical yet naturalistic lines of this work.
