Bowl : Engraved with a hop flower leaves and an ear of barley. Monogram . Threaded rim. Top down applied handle with rubbon finish
Stem : Hollow knop with 1836 silver groat
Foot : Low conical

Size : Height 15cm . A little over half pint capacity
Condition : Excellent

References : We do not believe this to be a commemorative item. The silver four pence ( groat) was only minted in the reign of William IV in 1836 and 37 ( This excludes Maundy money). If this were intended to be a commemorative then the 1837 equivalent would have been more appropriate.
