11 Basnett Street Liverpool was originally a merchants office that made way for the iconic George Henry Lee building. The street was named after the non-conformist Protestant minister Christopher Basnett in 1770. Basnett was the first minister of a chapel on Kaye street at a time when Liverpool was so small that it was then within the parish of Walton.
