SOLD – Georgian Blue Glass & Enamelled Tankard c1780

Description

A rare Georgian Bristol Blue Tankard which dates to around 1780.

It has an everted rim with an applied handle at one side. It has white and gold enamelling in a cartouche which says ‘Forget Me Not’ in the middle.  

Snapped pontil to the base. no lead metal. it measures 4 ¼ inches tall with a 3 1/8 inch rim. No chips cracks or restoration.
