Description
A fine example of a Georgian Glass Tankard c1760.
It has a lipped and tapered bowl with applied trailing around the rim. The engraved with hops and barley form a cartouche for the copperscript initials CC . Double Sprung applied handle with a high kick base and flanged foot with a snapped pontil.
English lead. no chips cracks or restoration. it measures 4 ¾ inches tall with 3 1/8 rim and 3 ½ inch base.
