The liqueur Ratafia di Andorno is made from Juniper berries. It is one of many variants of ratafia that have been imported into Britian from Italy and France since the 18th century. We have tried this and as a bitter digestive it is not to our taste. The engraving is most unusual for an ale glass hence the reasoned alternative proposed.
