Sadly the strong ale originally used in these glasses is no longer widely available. Thankfully Georgian ale glasses make for fine champagne flutes and for those still wishing to use them for their original tipple they are ideal for head retention. Of all Georgian drinking glasses ale glasses are some of the most useable.
