Georgian Flamiform Ale Glass c1790

Description

We have an oustanding Tall Georgian Flamiform Ale Glass which dates to around 1790.

It has a long conical Flamiform Bowl with a Triple Annulated Knop and Balde Knop at the base. Plain foot with rough snapped pontil.

English lead. no chisp cracks or restoration. it measures 10 1/2 inches tall with a 2 9/16th inch bowl and 3 inch foot.

I can honest say Ive never seen another example and from the top down it looks like 1750-1760. whereas the foot would indiacate 1790-1800.

We have placed it next to a standard Ale in the last picture to give you some idea of its significant proportions.
