A Georgian Plain Stem Ale Glass dating to c1750
This is a truly elegant example of the genre.
The waisted round funnel bowl is a magnificent 5 inches deep and the glass is 7 5/8th tall overall.
The flared bowl is 2 3/4 inches wide. The metal has all the inclusions and tooling marks that collectors like to see and has an excellent blue-grey tings.
The conical folded foot is 3 inches with a snapped pontil. No chips . cracks or restoration. this is a well balanced piece and very aesthetic.
