Georgian Engraved Gin Glass c1795

An excellent Georgian Engraved Gin Glass  which dates to c1795. It has a drawn trumpet bowl with a finely engraved swag.  Polished detailing in the flower heads and printie cuts with stars above and below. Slice facet cuts down the lower bowl and stem. Conical foot with snapped pontil.

English lead. no chips cracks or restoration. It measures 4 ½ inches tall with a 2 1/8 inch bowl and 2 3/8 inch foot.

This form was fasionable at the end of the fact cut era c1790 to c1800 and this is a very fine example.
