Nowadays branded gin balloons are common place. Georgian glasses were engraved and decorated with their intended pupose in mind. Gin is a grain based spirit, traditionally flavoured with juniper and nowadays flavoured with anything at all, including marshmallow, ants and clotted cream! Given the modern tendency to dilute gin this late 18th century Georgian drinking glass can be used for the spirit of your choice.
