There are very minor differences in dimensions. These may well be earlier than stated. however. the stem formation is typical of the early 19th century and the feet are less conical than one would anticipate on a mid 18th century example despite being folded. The folded was widely deployed in the early 19th century after a hiatus of some 50 years following the imposition of taxes targetted on glass production
