Bowl : Bucket shaped engraved with a hop cone and leaves and ears of barley in saltire. Good pucella marks
Stem : Plain with blade knop
Foot : Low conical
Pontil : Snapped
Glass Type : Lead
Size :  Height 10.0cm. bowl 6.3 and fooy 5.7cm
Condition : No chips or cracks
Restoration : The foot rim has been polished
Weight: 86g

The engraving is unusual for a glass of the size and form. Distilled beer. Bierbrand. Bierschnapps or “Brewers Whisky” became popular with the arrival of the Hannoverians. it remains a traditional spirit in Bavaria. We have only encountered this style of engraving once before on a dram glass
