Description
An English lead glass example. The glass itself contains some small inclusions. striations and period tooling marks as anticipated. It is engraved with the sun and the moon the masters of day and night and the “tools of a mason” with an unusual cut and polished trowel.
Thick firing foot with polished pontil.
It stands 3 3/4 inches tall with a 2 3/8ths bowls and a 2 7/8th foot ( 1/4inch thick !)
