SOLD – Georgian Regency Rummer c1820

Description

A Georgian Regency bucket bowl rummer glass which dates to c1820.

It has a large bucket bowl above an annular knop stem and plain foot which has a snapped pontil. English lead. It measures  5 5/8 inches tall  with a 3 1/4 inch bowl and 2 7/8ths inch foot. No chips cracks or restoration. The very base of the bowl does have some light clouding but this is to be used !! A bargain !

This is nice example and may be used for wine or beer. The metal has an excellent dark colour with some inclusions
