Foot : A blade knop above a terraced foot
Pontil : Broad slightly ovoid polished pontil. All the polishing lines running the across the longest dimension
Glass Type : Lead
Size : 14.8cm height. 10.0cm diameter bowl. foot 6.8cms x 6.8cms
Condition : Excellent. Minor fritting on some leading edges of the base and the corners. this is invariably the case unless restored

Weight: 777 grams
These are far less common than rummers with “lemon squeezer” bases. The latter were simply pressed glass. produced by gentlemen known as “Pinchers” who sold feet for drinking glasses. This explains why the feet on many lemon squeezer type glasses have a different colour of glass to the bowl. they were not made at the same time . nor the same place.
These terraced feet were also moulded. but they also had to be cut and polished. More time expended and a higher price at the factory gate.
