Bowl : Elongated cup shaped bowl with an engraving of the Sunderland Bridge and a square sailed ship. Beneath the ship is written “Span . 236 . feet . height . 100 feet.” To the opposite is the monogram J.G.B within a border topped with fruit and foliage. Underneath is the date 1851. We believe this has been added at a later date than the manufacture of the glass.
