SOLD – Large Georgian Bucket Bowl Dram Glass c1810

Description

A Georgian Regency bucket bowl dramr glass c1810.

It has a bucket bowl above an annular knop stem and plain foot which has a snapped pontil. English lead. It measures  4 ½ inches tall  with a 3 inch bowl and 2 ½ inch foot. No chips cracks or restoration.

This is classically described as a rummer. however we would prefer to think of this as a bucket bowl dram glass. ideal for gentlemen’s measures of port or madeira or whisky and water . The metal has an excellent dark colour with some light minor scratches.
