Description
An unusual English lead glass roemer c1800 which has a cup bowl that incorporates a hollow stem .This is directly comparable to continental Roemer glasses from the 17th century. The stem has a blade collar with applied prunts. Conical foot with applied trailing and snapped pontil. This is deceptively weighty
English lead. no chips or cracks or restoration. the glass measures 4 ¾ inches tall with a 2 inch bowl and 2 ¼ inch foot.
