SOLD – Georgian Glass Rummer c1820

Description

A very unusual Georgian glass rummer c1820.

It has an eight sided bowl with notch cut ribs above a lemon squeezer square foot. English lead. it has a few small nibbles to the corners of the square foot but they are quite insignificant. It measures 5 1/8 inches tall with a 3 1/8 inch bowl.

We have seen this style of cutting on much early glass including pedestal stems and bonnet glasses but not on a rummer. A very nice heavy lead example.
