Heading : Giles Gilded Green Glass Decanters
Period :George III 1765-70
Origin : London decorated at the Giles atelier. The glass was also probably produced in London at the Falcon
Colour : Emerald green. Diamond fact cut and gilded with what is known to have been called a ‘mosaic’ pattern
Pontil : Polished but traces of the scar can still be seen
Glass Type : Lead
Size : 30.8cm height
Condition : Some wear to the gilding around the neck and stoppers
Restoration : None
Weight: 2060 grams
