Patented in 1888 by Neville Heeley the design of this corkscrew became iconic and much copied. The double lever mechanism has remained the most popular design and is still produced in it’s millions today.
This example has a deep patination and appears to be totally original. The worm is complete at 5.5cm long and is still sharp.
