Additional Information : This map was included in The Antiquities of England and Wales Displayed by Henry Boswell (assisted - it is stated - 'by many antiquarians and other ingenious gentlemen'), published in 1786, and reprinted nine years later. The original version of the same map was printed in The London Magazine (or Gentleman's Monthly Intelligencer) way back on January 4th 1750. Kitchin produced 170 such maps for the publication during a thirty six year tenure which ran until 1783.
