Additional Information : ‘Boule de Gui’ (Ball of Mistletoe). This piece was introduced in 1920 and produced in varying colours and finishes. a further bowl was introduced in 1921 with mistletoe decoration due to popular and fashionable demand across continental Europe. There is an ancient tradition of mistletoe being used as a symbol of fertility and later luck and peace at New Year.
