Decoration : The lid completely covered in persepective cube work. Velvet lined interior with pull-out tray lined with marble paper.
Size : 23.2×15.5×7.8cm
Condition : Excellent. very little wear indeed to the exterior. The interior velvet a little faded and there are two mssing dividers from the lift-out tray. The internal base of the tray has been relined. Working lock and key
Restoration : Tray relined. Professionally polished
Weight : 747 grams
The lid being totally covered in perspective cubes. as opposed to having either a geometric border or keylines. is a great indicator of early Tunbridge ware. Unfortunately the design was widespread amongs Burrows. Wise. Fenner. Nye etc. that we have been unable to positively attribute the piece.
