Decoration : Brass bound mahogany with central vacant brass cartouche. Internally leather lined slope with two hinged cavaties below slope (one with key the other with latches). Two inkwells and a pen tray with compartment beneath.  One of the dividers for the inkwells lifts up to release a secret compartment containing three drawers.
Size :  45.6x27cm. 20.6cm height
Condition : Externally wear and scratches*- this is likely a campaign box and well travelled. Both internal and external keys in working order. the leather in good condition as are the hinges etc.
