History :The Gladiator's first flight was in 1934 and more than 500 were delivered to the RAF. Deployed as part of a volunteer squadron in support of the Finns against the Soviets. The Finnish air force used the Swastika symbol up until 2020- although they were alligned with the Nazis during the Second World War, the symbol was not used to indicate this. The Finns and the Nazis had both independently landed on the Swastika as their symbol.
