Heading : Antique silver lighter with chased decoration
Date : Sadly the date letter is rubbed – however it bears the makers mark used S Blanckensee & Son c1900
Period : Victoria / Edward VII
Origin : Birmingham, England
Decoration : Chased exterior with stylized floral deoration to body and gothic arches to top and bottom. Sliding to release cover. Interior with wick and flint.
Size :  Height cm. base diameter cm
Condition : Very good – there is pin missing to the clasp which means it is loose, however still secure and funcitoning. The flint produces a spark, though the wick does not catch and requires fuel.
Restoration : Flint likely a replacement
