Additional Information :This is a miniature work of art. The French were the masters of reverse painting glass. ‘peinture sous verre’. This culminated with Galle and enamelled landscapes in the early 20th century. The level of detail within the painting is remarkable and the reverse painting gives a greta depth of field.
