Additional Information : Charles Schneider together with his brother Ernest were called up for military service in WWI. they did not begin the production of art glass at their newly opened Epinay-sur-Seine glass works until after the war. After 1925 Schneider signatures tended to be acid-stamped in block capital letters rather than signed with engraved or enamelled script. Production ceased following bankruptcy in 1938
