Bowl Features : Red and uranium sommerso. The uranium glass has exposed to hydrofluoric acid with the ‘corosso’ (corroded) technique creating a textured exterior.

This bowl was made by either Seguso or Cenedese. both manufacturers produced many geode bowls and utilised the Corroso technique. The glass was first covered with an irregular layer of wax with a sponge and then dipped into hydrofluoric acid. This technique is no longer deployed due to the associated health risks.
