The conch is a symbol of loyalty and dignity within multiple cultures. The Chinese have carved conch shells from jade for centuries, the divine lungs of Buddha. Attribution to Seguso and the 1950s has been made by several vendors, to justify the $400 price tag. We have found no evidence to support this. It is simply a vibrant and decorative centrepiece.
