Origin : St Denis. Paris
Bowl Features : Unusual rim. Clear acid cut ground with enamelled violets and gilded leaves. The leaves are in high relief and are clear and polished.
Marks : None. We have sold almost identical pieces with the Mont Joye shield mark

Eric Knowles Comments : This vase has a definite front and back. the front panel has the curled over rim and is the most intensely decorated. This was made prior to the merger with Legras. This is far from being a poor relative of Daum.
