Additional Information: The name for this vase is obvious. Ajaccio is the capital of Corsica and those depicted around the base are wild Corcican mountain goats. Perhaps Rene travelled to Corsica with Francois Coty the highly regarded parfumier for whom he designed bottles who was born in the town of Ajaccio in Corsica.
