Eric Knowles Comments

'Meandres' represents a bench mark period in Lalique's output by apparently moving with the winds of time and the move towards Art Moderne. The comparison with the extensive range of similar technique and form pieces by Daum is inevitable whilst it should be remembered works in this geometric style by Lalique are relatively rare.
