A Footed Glass Bowl “Frost”

Heading : A large footed glass bowl inspired by frost.
Date : 20th century-modern
Origin : Most probably English studio . possibly Nazeing or Gray-stan
Colour : Clear glass. the outer face etched
Bowl : Bell shaped with large flared rim
Foot : Three piece moulded
Glass Type : Lead

Condition: Excellent. There are some tooling markes in the lower external bowl. These are quite intentional and form part of th decoration
Restoration : None.
Dimensions : 21cm tall. 29cm bowl. 14cm foot
Weight : 1904 grams

This has many atributes of Gray-Stan glass and Nazeing. but it s not marked. We do not know where it was made or when it was made. We have never encountered this frosted decoration before. That said it really does look as though it were decorated by Jack Frost overnight.
