Additional Information : Possibly one of Whitefriars most renowned and radical designers. Geoffrey Baxter was the creative mind behind many patterns and designs such as Glacier. Banjo and Bark. One of his most recognisable designs being the ‘drunken bricklayer’. Designed by Baxter in 1966 for the “new Whitefriars glassworks” in Wealdston opened in 1923. This pattern was produced in two sizes and a number of colours. An oddity but widely desired piece or Britsh art glass from the wane of the industry in England.
