Essex boy Norman Clarke worked with Peter Leyton in the East End of London before setting up his own studio in Cornwall. He has exhibited internationally.
This is a bold statement piece and was described by a colleague as the ‘union of Jackson Pollock and glass”. The studio advises that all pieces are inspired by Cornwall and Cornish landscape. Perhaps the red with green and blue veins was inspired by the Serpentine stone of the Lizard peninsula.
